A number of military personnel of the State Agency for the Protection of Strategic Objects were awarded with the jubilee medal "100 years of Heydar Aliyev (1923-2023)".

By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev dated February 2, 2024, the head of the State Agency for the Protection of Strategic Objects, Major General Abbasov Ilgar Rza oglu, 1st Deputy Head of the Agency, Major General Huseynov Ismayil Khalil oglu, Deputy Head of the Agency, Colonel Isfendiyar Sattar oglu Mehbaliyev was awarded with the jubilee medal "100 years of Heydar Aliyev (1923-2023)". On this occasion, an event was held in the Agency and the head of the Agency, Major General Ilgar Abbasov, presented the jubilee medals.

At the beginning of the event, the dear memory of the martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence.

The head of the Agency, Major General Ilgar Abbasov, expressed his gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev on behalf of himself and his deputies for the supreme award, and emphasized that this award is the trust shown to the Agency as a whole and that they will try to justify the trust of the Victorious Commander-in-Chief in their further activities.

At the end of the event, he congratulated the personnel on Novruz, one of the dearest holidays of our people, and wished them good health and success in their difficult, but at the same time, honorable service.
