The 101st anniversary of the birth of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev was celebrated at the State Agency for the Protection of Strategic Objects.

The personnel of the State Agency for the Protection of Strategic Objects of the Republic of Azerbaijan visited the grave of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honor on the occasion of his 101st birth anniversary. Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, was the founder and architect of the independent state of Azerbaijan, and an outstanding politician and statesman. The personnel paid tribute to his memory.

A wreath was placed and flowers were laid in front of the grave of the founder of the Azerbaijan state, National Leader Heydar Aliyev. The memories of the prominent ophthalmologist-scientist, academician Ms. Zarifa Aliyeva, well-known statesman Aziz Aliyev, and professor Tamerlan Aliyev were also commemorated with flowers placed on their graves.

Later, the Event was continued in the administrative building of the Agency. Before the start of the event, National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the heroes of the Motherland who died for the freedom of our country were commemorated with a minute's silence and the National Anthem was played.

The head of the Agency, Major General Ilgar Abbasov, who wrote his name in golden letters in the history of Azerbaijan in the 20th century, great statesman, architect and founder of the modern independent state of Azerbaijan, National leader of our people, Heydar Aliyev, made a speech about the incomparable historical services to our people, honorable life path and deep experience of statesmanship. mentioned and brought to attention that Azerbaijan fully restores its state sovereignty under the leadership of Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, who successfully continued the political course defined by the prominent statesman.

The head of the agency noted that the Great Leader, who returned to political power in 1993 by the will and insistence of the people, brought Azerbaijan out of chaos and crisis, prevented a civil war, and restored our national and moral values. There was a turning point in the social-political, socio-economic, scientific-cultural life of the country. Civil and legal state-building in accordance with international norms has begun. Important steps were taken regarding the formation of the national army, creation of regular armed forces, protection of lands, and a ceasefire was reached in the Armenian-Azerbaijani, Nagorno-Karabakh war.

With the ideas of the great leader Heydar Aliyev and the reforms he started, he skillfully coped with the two fateful missions - rescue and construction missions. The reforms implemented by President Ilham Aliyev, who successfully continued the political course of Heydar Aliyev, led Azerbaijan from recession to a great and amazing development path. It was noted that the main principles of Heydar Aliyev's political course are the basis for the victory of the Karabakh conflict. The work done in the field of increasing the fighting ability and determination of the Azerbaijani army, raising the spirit of patriotism, and equipping it with the most modern weapons and military equipment, which has been ongoing since the Great Leader came to power in Azerbaijan for the second time, laid the foundation for this great success.

It was emphasized that the genius personality, visionary political figure, Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, who recognized the signature of Azerbaijan in the signatures, is the author of the establishment, creation, stability and prosperity of this country, and most importantly, he is the savior who prevented the erasure of Azerbaijan as a country from the world map.
